Snaplate recognises your meal in the cloud, so scanning needs an internet connection. Your photo is used only to analyse the meal, then discarded — it's never stored and never used to train AI.
Every new device gets 5 free scans — no account, no card. Snaplate Pro is an optional monthly subscription that raises your limit to 200 analyses a month, with an optional 50-credit top-up if you need more.
